Remeniscient in feeling, "Self" is akin to Cordell Klier's post digital epic "apparitions" (ad noiseam, 2001). The new work is equally as sequential and snail-paced although quite unique in presentation. The movements twinkle calmly along corridors of passivity while shiftig towards a directness more tenacious than your usual post-electronic clutter. Seamlessly woven together with a few droning threads, Klier's notably fashionable glitches and clicks dilligently pass from speaker to speaker as confident finishing touches represent a cooler side to this American champion of noise.
